Reno on Barber

With Patrick Hatch replacing Kris Barber as Yale TE coach, a few readers asked why Barber left. Here's what Tony Reno had to say...

"He did an incredible job. He's one of my closest friends. His wife got a huge promotion with her job and they moved to Colorado. It was a family decision. He played an integral part in coaching and recruiting."

Hatch named TE coach

Patrick Hatch has been named Yale’s new tight ends coach.

Hatch spent the last four seasons as an assistant coach at Stony Brook. He spent two seasons as a defensive line coach and the last two as a running backs coach for Union.

Hatch, from Meriden, was a three-time all-conference offensive lineman at Union College before graduating in 2006. He replaces Kris Barber on the Yale staff.
