Yale recruiting news (UPDATE 7/3)

OL Sterling Strother looks to be headed to Yale as part of the 2016 recruiting class.

The 6-5, 270-pound standout from Moraga, California, turned down offers from Pac-12, SEC and Big 12 schools. Check out Strother's highlight video.

Strother tweeted the following on June 29.


Also, Yale is showing interest in WR Jonathan Arenas, according to Chicagofootball.com. Arenas is a two-sport star (basketball and football) at Maine South (Illinois). Check out his highlight video. Along with Yale, Brown, Harvard and Columbia have shown interest in Arenas for football. He is coming to Yale's camp on July 10.

UPDATE: WR Garrett White (Edison High, Huntington Beach, California) and QB Kurt Rawlings (Bel Air, Maryland) has committed to play at Yale pending acceptance.

Garrett White, Edison High School in Newport Beach CA has committed today. California recruiting is doing well.

Yale's Twitter page is saying they have 11 recruits.
