"The Game" program backdrop

The Yale athletic department wants YOUR suggestions for the backdrop of the 132nd "The Game" gameday program.

Some of the past favorites include: the Yale Bowl, Shubert Theater, Broadway, a trolley car and Harkness Tower.

List YOUR suggestion below.

The renovated nave of the Sterling Memorial Library. The captains could be studying their play books.

I like the tradition of both captains shaking hands. Yale and Harvard are one of only a few, if not the only, colleges that have a single captain.

The tradition is the two uniformed captains together in a relevant setting. The handshake is not usually part of it.

First home "The Game" since the 100th anniversary of the Bowl -- the picture should be in the Bowl.

Either taken from the Yale sideline with the home stands and press box as the backdrop, or taken from the Champions Room in the Kenney Center, with the field and visitor stands (like this, but outside the windows: http://www.yalebulldogs.com/sports/m-footbl/2011-12/videos/IMG_4101_reno.jpg )

1) The courtyard behind Woolsey Hall;
2) The steps in front of Woolsey Hall;
3) Old Campus, perhaps by the Nathan Hale statue with the quad in the background

Current
Captains from the two teams shaking hands in color. BACKGROUND IS A SEPIA/BLACK AND WHITE VINTAGE PHOTO of "THE GAME" being played or an old team photo. The juxtaposition will be brilliant.

I like 1:39PM's idea. I am the one who suggested inside the Bowl for the post-100th anniversary Game, but had considered an idea similar to 1:39's -- the two captains posing in front of a poster/image of the 1914 Y-H game program: https://quizwhizz.files.wordpress.com/2009/05/yale-harvard-program-cover.jpg?w=604
