What's YOUR prediction?

Yale will look to get back on track Saturday when the Bulldogs host Brown at 12:30 p.m.. What's your predicted score for the game?

Portal 31 pick: Brown 24, Yale 17

After the last two weeks, one more disappointing than the other, Yale football needs to gain traction again, and can do so against a Brown defense which trails all of the other schools in the Ancient Eight with respect to holding an offense at bay.

Look for both the remaining starters and possibly some surprising reserves to come through to assure at least a .500 season, with a prediction from a decades-long Bulldog fan who can't stand seeing Yale lose.

Let's hope the Elis can come through and save some face this season, with my prediction of:

Yale 30, Brown 24

What do we have to lose at this point? Try something different. Try three QBs, run from the wildcat position, throw to the tight ends over the middle, diversify plays, give the backups a shot at the field. See what works and see what doesn't work. It truly can't be worse than last week. A decent high school team would have got more first down yardage than we did. Just keep the momentum on our side and play for fun. No more two yard runs up the middle coupled with inaccurate throws to the sideline.

Brown 21
Yale 13
I hope I'm wrong. But unfortunately, I cannot un-see what I saw last week at The Bowl.

Brown 31, Yale 24. Sounds like Salter should be back for H-Y-P. If Hines is too, we'll have a shot.

At this point, nothing matters except beating Harvard.

Hopefully they've decided to bench Cannon. He's had more penalty yards than the offense has rushed for the past two weeeks.

I think the special teams will play a big role this week and give us a win.
Yale 12-Brown 10.

Great to some Dreamers still out there. Brown 24 Yale 7.. However if Reno and his staff stay at home watch on TV and let the Boys Coach themselves... Yale 38 Brown 7

If Salter doesn't play we will not score an offensive touchdown. However, defense and special teams manage two TDs and a safety. Y-16, B-14.

I have been wrong three out of the last four weeks. I hope it's four out of five, but the Yale O's performance last Saturday has shaken my faith to the core. Columbia is improved, okay, but who the frick are they now, Pittsburgh's Steel Curtain, the Dallas Doomsday Defense, the '85 Bears??? The Bulldogs made 'em look like a little like all three last week.

Brown 27, Yale 6.

Hope I'm wrong, of course.

Easy win for brown Yale DB never look back. Off.line terrible can not block Roberts throws three to the other team . No offense same running plays. Brown 28 Yale 7 The beat goes on .

Brown 31 Yale 7 Yale O-line is terrible. DBs consistently under-perform. No hope for Yale until the Coaching staff is replaced.

Biggest question is what happened to everyone on the blog that was calling so many people "trolls" and "haters"?? I guess after watching the Columbia game, it magically became acceptable to post obvious, truthful comments about the reality of Yale football.

My prediction: 70-30.

No, not the score. I predict a 70% chance that on a punt, Yale will get flagged for illegal formation - not enough men on the line of scrimmage.

Told you to have patience , Truth Teller you said where are the people who call us troll haters.? I prefer pathetic morons and or losers. But thats just me.How about Dale Harris.? Yeah, you trolls. You ARE haters. No hope until the coaching staff is replaced, eh? Truthful comments about the reality of Yale football, eh?? You are the same haters who are back time and again and I'll bet I know who you are. Go away. You wait for a loss and then you pounce -it doesn't matter the circumstances or the truth of things. Then when you are shown up you go underground and wait for the next. It is pathetic. The team has been battered within an inch of its life. The guys are strong, resilient, upbeat and they totally believe. They have a hard job this year but they will stick in and don't ever count them out because they won't let themselves be counted out. That's their spirit .My son plays. I know. Who are you and what do you know?
