I look for significant improvement this week. Tough to play defense at a high level when the offense is going three-and-out on the majority of possessions. If we can find a way to control the tempo of the game (and the clock) with a reasonably good ground attack, the defense won't have to be on the field for the majority of the game and our passing game (even with several top receivers out) will be much more effective.

Agreed. We're probably not going to win any games with our passing attack. Our oft-maligned defense really isn't as bad as some would have us believe. They're simply out there for an inordinate amount of time.

I don't see us moving the ball against this Maine defense on a consistent basis. This game is on the defense and exposing a below average Maine offense. Lets hope the coaches have a game plan.

Dartmouth's time of possession on Saturday was 31:15. Not much more than ours. It just seemed that way.
