Varga shines at Senior Bowl

Yale running back Tyler Varga certainly boosted his draft stock and capped an impressive week in Mobile, Alabama, rushing for two touchdowns to lead the North to a 34-13 win over the South Saturday in the Senior Bowl.

Varga, who was named North's captain prior to the game, finished with four carries for 31 yards and his two scores. Both came in the fourth quarter. He also came up with some key blocks at fullback and added three receptions for 39 yards.

Varga was drawing plenty attention throughout the week's Senior Bowl events and agent Joe Linta projects Varga to be a fourth or fifth round pick in the NFL Draft.

According to SportsNet, scouts are comparing Varga to Ryan Hewitt (Bengals), Matt Asiata (Vikings) or Tyler Gaffney (Patriots).
