Prrinceton has a pass defense even worse than ours. Aerial shootout, with Varga being the first guy to crack Princeton's rush defense. Yale 42-Princeton 28

With the All-era Yale legends in attendance, the Elis will be fueled to leave their efforts against Princeton on the field. Morgan Roberts is poised to break most, if not all, of the single season Yale passing records. This is also the last home game for Bulldog seniors Randall, Varga, and Wallace, among others. It is a day for Yale football to shine and avenge the drubbing by the Tigers last season in Old Nassau, with the score:

Yale 45, Princeton 24

Also, look to Brown to upset Dartmouth, with a possibility of Penn surprising Harvard to give Al Bagnoli a memory to savor, which will set up a championship game in Cambridge in THE GAME next week, one way or another!

Just like last year, 82 points will be scored. This time, however:

Yale 45, Princeton 37.

It is really tough to see Penn defeating Harvard. But if Yale beats Princeton, there will be just a wee dram o' drama in Cambridge on the 22d.

Harvard, having failed on 4th and 22, we win 35-29 in overtime on Tyler Varga's last Yale touchdown.
Oops, that's next week. Tomorrow, it's us forty-something, them thirty-something.

Combination of last week's Brown game and the last-seconds finish to the 1985 Yale-Princeton game at the Bowl. Y 45 - P 42.

Injury update? What is status of Chism? At practice on Tuesday in a boot and on crutches. Ross did well but hard to replace a 3 years starter. Will Little play? Blocking at H Back has suffered without him.

8Y8, you're thinking of the awesome '84 last-second Bulldog win at Yale Bowl: 98 yard drive with 60 seconds left and no time outs, Mike Curtin to Kevin Moriarity for the 27-24 win. In '85 at Princeton, some bloody Tiger animal poked Mike in the eye, probably as revenge for the year before. Mike was OK but we didn't win that day.

Bill, you're right of course, I'm thinking the '84 game at the Bowl.

More importantly, where's the running feed? And why isn't ESPN.com doing it's usual running play by play, stats and score? GRRRRR!!!

GO ELIS!

My predictions have only been so-so this season, so I'm taking full credit for 42-28 @ 11:42 am, plus I predicted the way it would happen. Maybe I'm beginning to understand this football forecasting thing.

why did the blog go on hiatus right at the height of the season? what up with that?

a rational person would look at the season and after quiet reflection admit that Harvard should win this one. Thankfully, I am not a rational person. Go on Blue, bring home that title!

I don't think that anybody at the NH Register knows that the blog is really not working. Chunn should have been and should be posting.
