Nice post 2:03 They scored 45 points. Congrats to Coach Reno and the boys for righting the ship after a very tough loss. Today was a very big win, for a non-conference game. Two losses in a row and Penn coming in could have been a slippery slope. Tyler Varga is an absolute beast

Nice win for Yale. Colgate is a pretty good team. It was especially nice to see the defense make that stand late in the 4th.

A slow start for the offense, but what a second half.

What happened to the offense? What happened to the offense is that for the first time in Yale history the offense put up more than 30,points in five games in a row as Vecaro said on air. That is what happened to the offense. Haters, be gone, and I am sure we will not hear any congratulations from you. That was discipline and good play call

After watching today's Yale-Colgate game (and all of the earlier games this year), it appears that Tyler Varga plays the RB position in a manner similar to LSU RB Jim Taylor, who played fullback for the Packers (1958-66) before Yale RB Chuck Mercein played the same position on the Packers' 1967 team.

Varga may have a future in the NFL if he decides not to play in the CFL.

  7. 4:03 was right... That defensive stand in the 4th was HUGE. It took the life out of Colgate. And Varga was awesome!!!!

Yale may be 4th or 5th next year with Varga and Randall. They account for 80% of the offense. And it looks as though the recruiting class may not be as good as thought. There is no way we can replace the beast "Varga" and our weapon "Randall". We need Harvard and Princeton to lose a game or our year is over, and next year we can't say we have a young team. Our team is led by Senior players. They are pretty much the two best players in the Ivy League.

I thought Egu did a good job at linebacker and defense is getting better each week. Front line rotation is keeping players fresh versus Colgate whose line was definitely tired in the fourth quarter.

8:55 "It looks like recruiting class may not be as good as thought." HUH?? Let us know how you know that, sir. That is BS, complete. "We need Harvard or Princeton to lose a game or the year is over." The year is OVER? sheesh. Let's just say we are over - you.
