Sophomore RB Tyler Varga has been named to the Ivy League honor roll once again.
Varga rushed for 104 yards on 20 carries and added 66 kick return yards in the Bulldogs 20-0 loss to Brown.

And, just to reiterate my comments from the previous thread: do you think Varga fell from the sky? No. He was heavily recruited and it was Reno who got him. Reno made an error with him, of course... he allowed (probably) Teevens to knock him out of the Dartmouth game. That's a mistake I presume he'll never repeat and one no amount of NESCAC coaching would have prevented.
The "error" he made was trying to pass the kid off as a freshman.
all circumstances aside, this guy can RUN the ball. If he can survive this year of over-use and over-dependancy he's going to be great. Reno does need to get his number of carries down, his late game fumbles because of fatigue even Reno should have noticed
