Duron appears on "The Voice"

Dez Duron, who saw action at quarterback in Yale's junior varsity games in 2009 and 2010, appeared on NBC's "The Voice" tonight after the Super Bowl but did not the cut as none of the judges pressed the approval button.

Here is a link to the song he performed

Jim -

I seem to remember Duron as a prize recruit as a quarterback a few years ago. Did he ever take any snaps for the varsity, and if he had stayed on the team, would he have been a likely candidate to replace Witt next fall?

Duron fell behind Whitelaw and Furman at quarterback last year and was moved to receiver during spring drills. While the new staff could move people around, I doubt that Duron would have earned varsity snaps at QB.
