Captain, My Captain
Bobby Abare has been named captain for the 2008 season.
Great choice.
This kid just loves football and is so passionate about playing and practicing.
As I said before, this is a good senior class with a lot of leadership so Bobby will get a lot of help.
Chandler Henley really set the tone for sharing leadership with the senior class and I think it will continue to carry over.
We'll have a story about Bobby in Saturday's Register and team awards in Sunday's paper.

Bobby Abare is a tough player who leads with an intensity and toughness that will tough to match next year.
I think he might even get a look or two next year if he stays healthy. His heart and desire is not as common as it used to be and will take the Bulldogs far.
