Congratulations on a fine performance in all phases of today's game.

I love the adjustments made to get the running game going, namely playing Harris and inserting the quarterback pitch option. Kudos to Reno and his staff for getting the team to bounce back from the extremely disappointing performance last week. And what a performance by Willimas-Lopez. Bo who??? I'm looking forward to next week'showdown against Princeton.
Is this the same offense we saw last week? So many of the depth guys really came through.
Now that we opened the play book to page one . Go to page two and use Mr Christopher Williams Lopez on a reverse good speed. Good job by Yale today Go Blue.

Good game yale but this slightly not so redesigned offense will be put to the test against Princeton. I dont want to take anything away from yale here but i wont be impressed until if they beat princeton. Good Job Yale Wishing you the best of luck

well, of course that's true, 9:53. No one said it isn't. No one is getting ahead. Princeton will be a very very tough test. But Yale just won with a tremendous lot stacked against them. Thanks for reminding us of what lies before us -as if we all did not know.

Much to be excited about after yesterday's satisfying and gratifying win. The insertion of Harris at running back was an inspired decision, and he responded like a champ, invigorating the Bulldogs moribund ground game (although the return of Salter also gave it instant cache, too) and galvanizing the offense. Williams-Lopez was a revelation and Roberts, at last relieved of the (imagined?) responsibility of carrying the offense all by himself, looked like a poised and competent shadow of his 2014 self.
But the defense was the brightest spot, to me. After surrendering a few long drives in the opening half, they really rose up and played shut-down D the rest of the way against what had been a pretty good Brown offense. Combining this with last week's stellar performance against what is obviously a much-improved Columbia team (witness how they battled Harvard; they and Dartmouth are the only two teams to even push the Crimson), the prospects of fair fights in the coming two weeks are looking much better this Sunday than they did last Sunday.
Bravo, Bulldogs!
The entire Yale coaching crew showed me something yesterday. As did the Bulldogs. Might be a good idea to postpone skewering Reno and the team till after the season. Just suggesting.
People are funny: Last week, on Halloween day, a lifeless Bulldogs team loses embarrassingly to (granted, obviously improved) Columbia and irate bloggers storm this site like frenzied pitchfork-wielding, torch-carrying villagers overrunning Castle Frankenstein at the climax of some corny old B&W horror film.
Saturday, they score a potentially season-saving --heck, what felt like a PROGRAM-saving!!-- victory over a pretty darned good Brown squad and the place is as quiet a country cemetery. A win of that magnitude should be discussed, dissected and celebrated
Instead, there is tomb-like silence.
People sure are funny.
The trolls must have been out for Halloween.
Notice who most of the regulars are 5:52PM? Those who want to see the failure of the Eli's. It is a shame, but the truth. Not this guy, GO BULLDOGS!!!
It's Thursday of the second biggest week of the season and there has been no coverage whatsoever. Can we please get some updates/previews of this week's matchup?

It's been difficult for Yalies to focus on football when they've been busy shrieking at a professor, spitting on an invited guest speaker, marching in the streets of New Haven and organizing campus teach-in's on race relations.
Typical overscheduled Yale overachievers too busy focusing on being oppressed to focus on Princeton football game.
I weep for Yale University, its coddled immature students, and the faculty which enables the political correctness run amok.
12:47PM, sounds like you have all the answers. So things like race relations and lack of character are less important than football and make observers of it "coddled"? Is this you Roger Goodell? No, just an equally ignorant moron. GO YALE!!! BEAT PRINCETON!!!

Free speech is free speech and it cuts both ways. Although there have been some dramatic examples, most Yale students and alums have been very respectful about their opinions and I'm proud of the way the administration has responded.
That being said, Yale 87 - Princeton 0. I look forward to being back for The Game.

Not a single post this week, Chunn, what gives?
Sorry folks, but this blog is apparently OVER! For whatever reason the Register does not want to reveal the cicumstances as to why.
Mr. Hunn's Twitter account has been deleted. Last Register piece from him was the Friday before the Brown game. Chip Malafronte, the paper's college hockey writer, has written the Brown game piece and subsequent follow-up article. Seems like this blog may indeed be dead. Or, at least in limbo.
