Highly recruited DL Daniel James recently turned down a scholarship to Vanderbilt and will stick with his commitment to Yale, according Nola.com.
"Since freshman year, I always said that I would commit right away if Vanderbilt offered me," James told Nola.com. "But after building a relationship with my Yale coaches, future teammates and members on the team now, I feel like there is no better place than to be in New Haven, (Conn.), next year.
GREAT NEWS!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou wonder what Reno sold this kid on. Lots of false promises and lies.
ReplyDelete11:45 why are you so callous.?
ReplyDeleteGet a life.
Poor, pitiful, 11:45, What did mean ole Tony Reno do to you? We can't wait to hear.
ReplyDeleteWhy so secretive on Hall walking out the front door on Reno? any chance wilmot is over his personal issues?
ReplyDeleteHall got a DUI before last years Princeton game. He didn't coach either Princeton or Harvard.
ReplyDeleteHey guys, look on the bright side, the trolls only come out when good things are happening recruiting-wise.
ReplyDeleteReno probably sold him on having a Yale degree versus having a Vanderbilt degree at the end of the day. What a horrible man Reno is, encouraging a kid to choose to go to Yale.
ReplyDelete11:45 = IDIOT

ReplyDeleteI could'nt have written it better.
ReplyDeleteYours truly Jon Harris
I am sure Reno didn't have to sell him on the fact that coming in at the very end of Vandys roster requires some thought. That feeling very good about the relationships he formed with coaches and players at Yale had value. That keeping his word had value. That going somewhere where you are clearly wanted from the get go is smart vs somewhere that called you up a week before signing day. Being someone's first choice vs someones 3rd or 4th choice. Plus the kid needed to consider that you need to love wherever you choose. He already knew he loved Yale. I don't understand the big deal.
