Varga leads the FCS in scoring average (13.5) and is ninth in yards per carry (6.8). He has rushed for 525 yards and eight touchdowns. He rushed for 185 yards and five scores, including the game-winning touchdown, in the overtime victory over Army.
Varga is also a semifinalist for the National Football Foundation’s William Campbell Trophy for top scholar-athlete.
