Rich Marazzi’s book paints vivid pictures of Yale Bowl

NEW HAVEN >> Rich Marazzi attended his first football game at the Yale Bowl on Thanksgiving Day in 1948. He was 5 years old. He sat with his father, uncle and a friend and watched Hillhouse beat rival West Haven 20-6. A crowd of 40,504 filled the Bowl that day, still the Connecticut record for attendance at a high school football game.
“It really intrigued me,” Marazzi said.
