So this looks to be the complete list.
I think this year’s group appears to be just as good – if not
better – than last year’s class, which was very promising. There seems to be
good balance.
OL John Bezney is the highest-rated recruit. OL Anders Huizenga (6-6, 300 lbs) also looks to
be a big addition.
A deep group of WRs gets even strong with the addition of
players like Jake DeHart and Mike Siragusa.
Matt Oplinger is part of a talented
group of LBs coming in.
Southington’s Stephen Barmore, Rafe Chapple and perhaps
Jamal Locke could add to what should be a healthy competition at QB.
The addition of some strong CBs should allow Foye Oluokun to
move back to S next season. He was forced to play CB last year.
harvard just got another stud lineman. were so far behind with 5lineman what are we going to do when the kids this year leave. were being out recruited by other schools four the big guys.
ReplyDeleteGoing head to head Yale and Havad
ReplyDeleteY OL-13 retuning linemen plus
4 freshmen =17
H OL-11 retuning linemen I do not know who they have coming in.
Y DL-8 returning linemen plus
4 freshmen =12
H DL-6 returning linemen I do
not know who they have coming in.
Jon Harris, not as bad as I thought..
Yale recruiting was to me a surprise that it was shut out in Oregon and Washington.
ReplyDeleteThis is simply a below average class compared to Princeton and Harvard.
ReplyDeletecoach reno Have jamal locke put on ten lb he will be all ivy running back his junor year . great speed walt yale blue.
ReplyDeleteWalt: Mr. Salter already has those pounds.
ReplyDelete5:25 what are you basing this info on.?Do you have a complete list,From those schools.
ReplyDeleteYale did very well alot of height and speed.Room for these lads to grow....
Cheers Jon Harris
These guys will not grow. All the guys lose weight after getting here. A poor training and nutrition plan coupled with insane academic and football schedule are not conducive to growth! Just so you know, this is not elite football. This is survival football. And "yes", I know first hand so don't go saying anything else!
ReplyDeleteWhy you getting your panties in a bunch.Because you have no idea and you can't prove it..
ReplyDeleteShow me the facts, even though you can't.No need to be a punk.
Jon Harris
Anonymous, how about telling us your name and what position you played at Yale.
ReplyDeleteHey moron, your a Yale graduate.?
ReplyDeleteSure you are.Look at the bottom of the post stupid.
Whats your name, how long of a pine ride did you have...
Bye Bye from Jon Harris
Jamal Locke looks very similiar to Deon Randall both were quarterbacks in high school. I expect Locke will be a wide reciever not a running back,
ReplyDeleteI want to apologize to everyone on being and outspoken jerk.I have very few passions it just so happens. That Yale football is one of them.
ReplyDeleteI have been watching them for 45 years. So it is a personal thing.I just don't do well when I hear a fool that has his opinion and only his opinion. Can not tolerate others. You are the kind of people that can walk off short pier. Jon Harris
That was quite an apology.
ReplyDeleteAdd me to the list of passionate about Yale Football nice to have you aboard Jon Harris.
ReplyDeleteAll this talk about needing more size for defensive lineman led me to think of the significance of SPEED, especially after watching the Seahawks Sunday! That can be even more important in the Ivy League, where many of the bigger linemen are slow.
ReplyDeleteThats how Harvard has been doing it.I believe Tony and his staff did a great job.I am looking forward to see, how these young men grow with this program.
ReplyDeleteLike Mr. Richardpatrick, I believe the speed on this Yale football is getting quicker each year. Cheers Jon Harris
Oh Chris thanks for the best coverage in the league..
harvards def line about 270 per man. yale about 255 per man it did not get the job done.
ReplyDeleteFootball is a physical game. Speed only works until you get hit and then it is concussions, broken bones, torn ligaments and a lot of excuses and bad feelings. What you witnessed in the Yale Bowl in November was a good old fashioned ass whooping by a more physical team that was much bigger at almost all positions. Our kids are ligtweights. Most don't even look like football players when not in uniform. Actually, our linemen look more like basketball players. Just calling it like I see it.
ReplyDeleteTo Jon Harris:
ReplyDeleteIt is nice for you to apologize but you are the one that is intolerant of anyone who does not carry Yale FB Pom Poms. Just review your comments. They speak for themselves. You are not anymore objective than the people you call out.
Yes,But what gets me are aholes that sy quote ,to I know first hand ,So'don't say anything else.
ReplyDeleteI will say it and I will back it up.I will be the first to sy I m wrong.
I don't hide Jon Harris liklot of people...Just saying
To 1:51: Please control yourself or find another place to spew out endearments like "aholes." You're disgracing yourself and not doing Yale any good either. Who wants to have anything to do with a place that has fans like you?
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry if I offended Madam.I won't make another derogatory remark my dear.. Jon Harris xox
ReplyDeleteChris:
ReplyDeleteAll of us are grateful for your efforts on behalf of Yale football. That said, would it be possible for you to vet the posts before they see the light of day?. It's a shame, but a great deal of the pitiful material we've been reading lately is better suited to the walls of public bathrooms than the blog of a respected newspaper.
Chris,Any chance of talking to Emil Johnson, about how he plans on bulking these players up.
ReplyDeleteFor the upcoming football season.
Thank you Jon Harris
Yes Chris,How about having to post your real name.Instead of hiding like a coward of being
ReplyDeleteanonymous, having a pedigree of something that your not...
I believe that most are double dipping, when can see them to hold them accountable.
I'll see you soon Chris
Jon Harris
I will try to get in touch with Johnson.
ReplyDeleteDo not count out Andrew Johnson in the QB competition. This kid has breakaway speed with fantastic play recognition and decision-making skills. He passed for over 2,100 yds and added another 900 yds on the ground with 38 total touchdowns in one of the toughest regions in Georgia AAAAA.
ReplyDeleteIm looking forward to Andrew, and all the other players coming in .
ReplyDeleteAlong with all the other players
I feel a special season coming up.
Cheers Jon Harris
Everybody on this team has worked they're butts off. With that the reward will be a great season.
