Former
Yale football captain Paul Rice has been named the Bulldogs outside linebackers
coach.
Rice replaces Drew Petzing, who took a job with
the Cleveland Browns. Rice returns to New Haven after spending a season as a
graduate assistant at Georgia Tech. He was an All-Ivy League linebacker before
graduating from Yale in 2010.
Paul Rice's return deserves at least one comment, and here's mine: "Hooray! Welcome home!"
ReplyDeleteMake it two. If he can coach the way he played, Yale's defense has already improved.
ReplyDeleteTime to substitute Rice for Petzing on the website.nuturyb
ReplyDelete"Ditto" to the above two comments!
ReplyDeleteCap'n Rice also played for Assistant Coach Reno, and that familiarity has gotta help the Blue all the more.
