While I haven't been told of a specific day, I would expect Yale to officially announce its incoming freshman class shortly. Last year the recruit list was announced on May 14 so barring any red tape, I would anticipate the list being made public in the coming days.

There's not a heck of a lot of mystery to the Yale football team's Class of 2014. I have compiled the list of 22 players who have been accepted and sent in the proper paperwork. The latest info I had was that the Yale staff was hoping to add quarterback Jake Semones out of Loomis Chaffee and the son of the Bulldogs' linebackers coach Doug Semones and Brandis Yarrington, a receiver/defensive back out of Ann Arbor (Mich.) Pioneer High, to the list of commits. There is also some confusion surrounding running back Charles Takeh, who starred at Chaminade Madonna College Prep in Hollywood, Fla. Papers in Florida list Takeh as a Yale commit but I have not been able to confirm that to be the case. Yale is also adding two transfers, tight end Trevor Peterson, who redshirted this past season at Boise State, and punter Greg Carlsen, who attended Florida but did not play football although I don't expect them to be on the initial list of recruits.
