The decision to kick the FG, rather than to risk a 1st down or TD, turned out to be the pivotal call of the game. Potentially Yale left 4 points -- the winning points -- on the table by going with the kick. Not that the decision didn't make sense. It did, as it put the Eli up by more than a TD. But given the anemic offensive show by the Blue in the 2nd half, going for the TD would not have been a cavalier decision. Mike Harrington, '69TD
