I hate to say it, but it could get even worse than that.

    Yale 77 - Dartmouth 0

Morgan Roberts has 500 yards passing, sets school completion percentage record. Deshawn Salter runs for 400 yards. In Dartmouth's only defensive stop, Bryan Holmes kicks a 70 yard field goal. The defense sacks Dalyn Williams 25 times, and the three passes he manages to get off are all intercepted. Williams quits the team the very next day and applies for transfer. Two Dartmouth punts are returned for touchdowns. The backup QB and running back combine for 400 additional yards in the second half. Yale takes a knee in the 3rd quarter at the Dartmouth 10 yard line on 5 consecutive drives. Half of the Dartmouth team quits and Buddy Teevens retires. Columbia beats Dartmouth 42-14 two weeks later and Dartmouth fails to win a game for 5 seasons thereafter. The End.

Reno and his entire staff are fired on the bus ride back to New Haven and Yale decides to disband the football program.

Can never get myself to predict a score where Yale loses, but it appears that Harvard and Dartmouth are in a class by themselves this year, well above the rest of the league.

All of the above comments are quite funny, folks. However, Yale may just rise to their potential and play well for two full halves of football. With this possibility in mind, many of the prognosticators who are choosing Dartmouth to win may just be surprised at the final score of:

    Yale 37, Dartmouth 34

Whatever......... Dartmouth is going undefeated this year, resulting in 'The Game' being a meaningless footnote...

  18. Dartmouth's defense will shut down the Yale offense. It will be fun watching a tiring Yale defense spends lots of time on the field with Dalyn Williams & Co.

Dartmouth may win, but their defense will absolutely NOT shut down Yale.

Morgan Roberts proves that he is the best quarterback in the Ivy league and the defense forces two clutch fourth quarter turnovers.

Yale dominated the first half last year
    and played conservative defensive schemes
in the second half which led to their downfall. This year expect aggressive
    defense for 60 minutes.
    Yale wins big.

Yale 30, Dartmouth 24 (OT)... with a fond tip o' the hat to 1967: Yale 56, Dartmouth 15 in a Bowl showdown televised on ABC-TV, signaled the arrival of Calvin, Dowling, Carm and the Eli program as powerhouse.
