Henley, Lett officially named Yale assistants

Yale made it official on Wednesday, naming Chandler Henley tight ends coach and Derrick Lett Yale’s running backs coach.

Henley captained Yale’s 2006 Ivy League title team and was a two-time All-Ivy pick.  He spent the past three seasons at Vanderbilt, working as the offensive/recruiting graduate assistant and assistant quarterback coach.

Henley was set to become the Holy Cross running backs coach earlier this year, but instead accepted the position at Yale.

Lett comes over from Tennessee where he spent two seasons as the offensive quality control assistant. He worked with the running backs, wide receivers and punt return, while assisting the recruiting coordinator.

Lett was a wide receiver at Bowling Green from 2001-05.
