CHunn,
ReplyDeleteThankx for the update. I believe Van de Grift's weight is 290 lbs.
Also, there are a few more who have been accepted to Yale. However, I am having difficulty identifying their names.
Happy Holidays!
BGA noted that Dartmouth has 12 recruits for football.
ReplyDeleteJack Bates to Harvard!
ReplyDeleteJack Bates is a big loss. I saw him on Harvard sideline at "the game". There were several of the Yale coaches that left their drills to run over and shake his hand. You could not miss Jack. He is 6'8.5 and 270. I don't think I have seen coaches stop in the middle of warmups and run to the opposing teams recruits and single out a kid. He must have been a huge recruit.
ReplyDeleteHarvard has had a monster recruiting class, and they have beat us on several of our top recruits. They seem to be getting all of the players they want to have so many commitments already.
Harvard's dominance in Harvard and Basketball compared to the rest of the league has been a peculiar trend over the past few years, and it all starts before the games are even played during recruiting season. Top teams like Alabama and Oregon consistently do well despite losses of their top players to the NFL because their rosters are studded with top players who can easily make up for any losses. Yale is doing quite decently in pulling players right now compared to the rest of the league, but Harvard is at another level altogether. Their incoming class is comparable to an FBS school roster.
ReplyDeleteTheir incoming class in not comparable to an FBS roster. You have no idea what you are talking about 9:27.
ReplyDeleteGuess what? harvard hockey 4 th in the country. whats next baseball ?BOY ARE WE BEHIND THE 8 BALL.
ReplyDeleteYes, and Yale beat them last month at Harvard.
ReplyDeleteYale Recruit:
ReplyDeletePeter Firestone, O/L, 6' 6", 260 lbs. Lawrenceville Prep School, Lawrenceville ,NJ.
Thank God Harvard didn't want Firestone!
ReplyDeleteBo Hines, top pass catcher at NC State as true frosh, transferring to Yale.
ReplyDeleteGoogle '15 Yale commit WR Kyle Marcinick, just named to All USA Ohio team on Christmas day. This kid will be a serious weapon. More great things on the way for the Bulldogs!
ReplyDeleteWow Marcinick '14 season video is very impressive!
ReplyDelete"Boy are we behind the 8 ball." ]What are you talking about. Yale won hockey National Championship just two years ago - before Harvard ever did in modern times. And we're behind the eight ball? So sad. TROLL.
ReplyDeleteMarcinik is a sleeper. He and Hines could go a long way in helping replace Randall/Wallace production.

Didn't Harvard win the hockey National Championship in the late 80's, or is that not considered "modern times"?
ReplyDeleteHarvard SUCKS,did'nt you know that
ReplyDelete.? I even knew Harvard sucks.!!
So I guess you really SUCK
Correct. For the purposes of this blog, given the dramatic recent shifts in athletic programs, the late '80s is not considered "modern times."
ReplyDeleteAny news on Dario Highsmith CT QB/RB who had previously said he had Yale offer?
