Brown will win this one going away. Yale wont be able to stop the bears on Saturday. Offense will struggle on the road this weekend.

Does Yale think about resting varga for the Crimson? The amount of carries hes taken so far this year is a recipe for injury.

    Yale will dominate on Saturday.

1:57 Varga is only averaging 20 carries a game. Not very many at all for a premier running back.

Injuries can happen on any play, of course, but any injury to any of Yale's RB's would certainly not be from overuse.

Yale is already transitioning from Tyler Varga to Candler Rich, and Yale's running game will be even better next year, as will also be its passing game.

Barring injury, Varga will have one more big day to shine again before a national audience on 11/22/14.

As many will recall, Varga was withheld from the Brown pre-season scrimmage and Yale still bested the Bruins, which has a credible and NCAA ranked defense (but an unranked offense) this season.

The day of reckoning on the Charles is approaching for the H men and they are already preparing for the consequences according to yesterday's announcement.

Rich looked good because he was running again Columbia. There is no replacement for Varga!

Rich will not get 25 yards and Varga will struggle to get 75 against the Crimson!

It is true. How did Rich look again Dartmouth? Varga looks good no matter who he plays. Rich is no Varga and no other Ivy RB is that good.

Rich is average as dirt. Hes not fast, powerful or elusive. He has good hands, 3rd down back at best.

Cut the kid some slack. He is a different type of back. Quick and elusive with good vision. A good change of pace to Varga. You need different types of backs for different circumstances. When Varga is not in the game the defenses seem to relax. I don't think they will be doing that any more!

So when Varga is gone next year, who's taking his place?

9:24 The next Mike McLeod, Robert Carr, Rashad Bartholomew, Rich Diana, John Pagliaro, Dick Jauron, and Calvin Hill, plus the running backs who are not in the record books who helped Yale win 7 of 11 H-Y games between 1984 and 1994. Plus the next Tyler Varga....

Ok well Salter and rich will not be.

Salter and Rich will be the horses next year. Actually a very good combination. Plus, as long as the O-line is good the backs will be good too!

In the area Yale is in you better has some weapons - or you will get mugged!

Reno has not recruited one decent "weapon". Varga - transfer, Randall (Williams recruit), other good WR (Williams recruit), Roberts could not make it at Clemson and will be average at best without this year's seniors. Yale ends 2015 season at 5-5.

Harvard wins "The Game" by 24 points in 2014 and Yale ends the season in 4th place!

Just watch this unfold Mr. Harris "weapons guru"
