If Fordham has averaged 40,I'm not sure how we stop them. They have an ENORMOUS O-line. Offensively, losing Chris Smith hurts but its our deepest position: Wallace, Sandquist, Little, and the freshman Gaines are talented players. And of course, Deon. Yale's offense will have to have a bounce back game to keep Fordham's offense off the field.
Cal Poly was an overrated Top 20 team. This team is the real deal; they will go undefeated with barely a speed bump the rest of the way, and has a realistic shot at a national championship.
I'm not that interested in how the offense performs this week. If we hold Fordham under 30, that's a victory in my book. So my prediction is: Fordham 28.
Yale will play much better than last week, but not quite good enough.
ReplyDeleteFordham 40 Yale 34
With Chris Smith: F 35, Y 20
ReplyDeleteWithout him: F 35, Y 13
Fordham 27, Yale 20. I wanna win 'em all, but this is the last game where losing would be not be a huge deal.

I am a fan, but a realist: Fordham 41, Yale 17
