Niko Padilla, DL, TX, visited Yale last weekend, Columbia this one. Earlier reports that going to Central Arkansaa. Listed by Rivals today as going to Columbia. Was this another Academic Index issue like Marinan and Lewis?

Yes, academic issue. Columbia's bands are lower. What's the final word on Lewis? Is he out for sure?

Columbia's recruits should have a quick chat with former Cornell players about how much they liked playing for him 10+ years ago. The man is solid coach, but it won't be FUN - and last I checked that's the whole point.

how could columbia bands be lower than yale? Columbia was about 5.7% more difficult to get into based on last year's admit rates--6.93% vs. 7.35%. second watching this kid's tape makes me feel like he is out of the reach of all ivies as he looks like a kid that could start at TCU and one day have a shot to work on sunday.

It's not admit rate.... it's standardized test scores of admitted students... and Yale's are higher.

Think it is actually 70 percent test scores. 30 percent class rank adjusted for size of graduating class.

I read where Ryan Dillard made his recruiting visit last weekend. If that was the kid I saw on film he looks like he is 5'9. After doing some research he actually played on 2 championship teams not 3. Yale needs to look into this a bit closer.
