Incoming freshman Reed Spiller was named one of the three captains for the New Hampshire team in Saturday's Shrine Maple Sugar Bowl.
Spiller, a three-year starter at offensive line for Portsmouth High, will serve as captain along with Pinkerton lineman Josh Lane and Nashua South quarterback Bill Ferriter, a baseball recruit for UConn.
The annual game between graduating seniors from New Hampshire and Vermont will be played at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Dartmouth College's Memorial Field.
