His '73 Class and my '78 Class share reunion weekends and it is always great to see him.

BW'78Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33599217.post-9186957849816175462015-11-19T20:32:17.112-05:002015-11-19T20:32:17.112-05:00One of the heroes of my youth, and one of my favor...One of the heroes of my youth, and one of my favorite Elis ever. A bunch of us kids lived a few blocks east down Rt. 34, where it became Derby Ave and split off into George Street. It was a rough (and getting rougher) neighborhood in those days. We were poor, our homes broken and, for most of us, our prospects limited. On Saturday afternoons, though, watching Dick Jauron run, we all felt like champions. If Cozza wasn't forever sitting him down midway through the third period in most games, he might have gained twice as many yards. A most deserved honor.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33599217.post-42346125870542640722015-11-19T19:29:11.546-05:002015-11-19T19:29:11.546-05:00Congratulations to one of the all time greats at Y...Congratulations to one of the all time greats at Yale, Dick Jauron.
